Subject: Attempted Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested After Brief Standoff
ANAHEIM, CA – A suspected bank robber was arrested this morning after a nearly one hour standoff. Anaheim Police received a 9-1-1 call from an employee inside the Wells Fargo bank in the 1600 block of N. Raymond Ave. at 9:09 am reporting a possible bank robbery in progress. Employees reported a male entered the bank and demanded money from a teller. Several employees were inside the bank at the time and secured themselves in the rear of the business while watching the suspect over closed circuit video cameras and updating responding officers to the suspect’s location and actions.
