Two men and a teenage girl were shot in their legs Sunday night at around 10:30 pm., while they were inside a home’s garage in the 1600 block of South Ivanhoe Street, in Anaheim, near James Madison Elementary School, according to the O.C. Register.
The attack appeared to be unprovoked, according to Anaheim Police.
The victims told police that a person walked up to the garage, which had a partially opened door, and began firing a gun at the trio. Continue reading

On Sunday morning, September 20, 2015, just before 3:00 a.m., a 22 year old male victim was taken by friends to Anaheim Global Medical Center after he was shot while in the 1500 Block of W. Homicide Investigation Following Shooting Incident
ANAHEIM, Calif. – (July 20, 2015) – On Sunday, July 19, 2015, Orange County Sheriff’s investigators began an investigation following discovery of two adult male shooting victims. Both victims were found inside a Ford SUV vehicle, stopped in the intersection of Poona Drive and Lullaby Lane in unincorporated Anaheim. The victims were treated by paramedics and transported to an area hospital.
One of the two victims, a 51 year old male, was pronounced dead early this morning as result of his injuries. The deceased victim’s name is not being released until the Coroner Division’s investigator can confirm his identity and notify next of kin. Continue reading

Subject: **UPDATE** Officer Involved Shooting: 300 block of W. La Palma Avenue
This afternoon, at approximately 2:40 PM, an officer was conducting a traffic enforcement stop in the 300 block of W. La Palma Avenue. At some point during this contact, a suspect unrelated to the stop approached the officer, produced a large kitchen-type knife, and charged the officer. The OCDA has published a letter containing the investigation findings and legal conclusions regarding the Anaheim Police Department’s officer-involved-shooting of Gerardo Pineda.
The OCDA cleared Anaheim Police Investigator Kelly Phillips, who shot Pineda, of any wrongdoing. The OCDA’s investigation identified Pineda as a known gang member nicknamed “Ghost.” Continue reading
An Anaheim officer was justified in shooting a man trying to flee from police on a bicycle, Orange County prosecutors have determined.
Orange County District Attorney’s Office investigators concluded that Officer Chris Petropulos acted reasonably when he shot and injured Pedro Mejia Jr., believed to have thrown a handgun during the chase Oct. 21, 2012, a letter released Thursday outlining the results of the investigation said, according to the OC Register.
