Subject: **UPDATE** Officer Involved Shooting: 200 Block E. Lincoln Avenue, City of Orange
On April 4, 2015, at approximately 7:45 A.M., Anaheim Police Officers received information that a woman who was sought on an arrest warrant the previous day by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) was at her residence in the 2800 block of E. Lincoln Avenue. Officers observed the female, later identified as Mayra Frausto (9/29/90), and a male identified as Paul Anthony Anderson (6/28/1983), get into a Toyota Prius which was driven from the area by a third individual. Anaheim Police Officers initiated an enforcement stop in the area of Lincoln Avenue and Glassell Street in the City of Orange. After the vehicle stopped, Anderson exited the car holding a “Cobray M11” nine millimeter firearm, and an officer involved shooting occurred. The subject was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics; no officers were injured. Frausto was taken into custody for a $30,000 traffic warrant. Continue reading
