Subject: **UPDATE** Officer Involved Shooting: 300 block of W. La Palma Avenue
This afternoon, at approximately 2:40 PM, an officer was conducting a traffic enforcement stop in the 300 block of W. La Palma Avenue. At some point during this contact, a suspect unrelated to the stop approached the officer, produced a large kitchen-type knife, and charged the officer. A second officer became involved at some point who was also charged at by the suspect. Both officers fired their weapons, stopping the assault. Continue reading
