Farmer’s Park is hosting the “Farm Folk Festival,” an exciting, all-day event of Americana indie music and workshops by local artists, chefs, gardeners, craftsmen and musicians, today, June 29, 2013, from 1 to 7 pm. (There is also a grand opening at 12:30 pm). This annual event takes place on a greenbelt that connects two important pieces of Anaheim history, The Packard Showroom and The Packing House, in celebration of Anaheim’s agricultural heritage.
In addition to live music, there will be workshops on garden mixology, farming, tin whistle playing, cigar box guitar making, vintage bicycle repair and more. Guests can rest on the grass of the outdoor amphitheater, stroll on the redwood boardwalk, buys plants and herbs from Fullerton Arboretum, snack on delicious treats from the gourmet food trucks or at Umami Burger and enjoy Anaheim Brewery craft beer on their tasting room patio.
