ANAHEIM’S HOTEL INDUSTRY COMMITS $25,000 FOR POLICE K9 MONUMENTS
ANAHEIM, Calif. (July 17, 2014) – The City of Anaheim announced the Anaheim/Orange County Hotel Industry has committed an initial contribution of $25,000 for Police K9 monuments to be placed at Anaheim’s future La Palma and Olive Hills dog parks.
The Anaheim City Council recently approved a $25,000 loan to the Kash For K9s committee, through the Anaheim Community Foundation. However, the Hotel Industry offered to assume that responsibility, thereby eliminating any need for the City to contribute, leaving this as a purely community, grassroots effort. Continue reading
