Subject: Anaheim Police to Honor Ten Anaheim Youths for Doing the Right Thing
Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., the Anaheim Police Department will recognize twelve Anaheim youth who demonstrated they will do the right thing! As part of the “Do The Right Thing” (DTRT) Program twelve youth from across Anaheim will be recognized for their selfless acts including: a quick thinking first-grader who saved his sister’s life when she fell in a pool; a third-grade special education student who shows kindness and compassion towards others; two fifth-grade students who assisted primary students to safety when their school campus was placed on lockdown; and an 11th grade student who organizes a toy drive at her high school every year. This is the second recognition ceremony, hosted by the Anaheim Police Department and the Anaheim Chapter of Do The Right Thing.
