Stay cool as it gets hot in Anaheim this weekend
ANAHEIM, Calif. (June 16, 2016) — Summer’s coming early in Anaheim.
Temperatures this weekend are expected to reach more than 100 degrees, a swing of 25 degrees or more from the mild days we’ve been seeing.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2016) – The first heavy El Niño storms of the season have passed through Anaheim, leaving us with a glimpse of what’s to come this season. This weekend is a good time to assess your home and determine if any fixes or improvements should be made.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 6, 2016) – A series of El Niño storms is bringing bursts of heavy rainfall and upping the chance you’ll encounter water buildup on streets and other areas. The city of Anaheim reminds residents to avoid flooded areas by remembering the phrase, “turn around, don’t drown.”
The city of Anaheim continues to clean storm drains and service pump stations that help clear water from roadways. But water buildup is inevitable with El Niño storms, which tend to drop concentrated amounts of rain over a short amount of time. Continue reading
Rain is here, and so are sandbags
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Jan. 5, 2016) – As Anaheim sees its first real rains of what is expected to be a heavy El Niño season, the city is reminding residents and business owners that sandbags are available across Anaheim.

Winter weather is coming – are you ready?
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Dec. 14, 2015) – This winter, Anaheim is expecting something we haven’t seen much of lately – rain.
From December through spring, Anaheim could see heavy rainfall from El Niño, where warmer Pacific Ocean waters bring higher than normal precipitation to Southern California.
Anaheim last saw a major El Niño in the late 1990s, when nearly 20 inches of rain fell on the city from December to March, and almost a year’s worth in February 1998 alone. Continue reading
