Anaheim Police Department investigators and their SWAT officers introduced themselves to another slap house (street talk for illegal gambling parlor) early on Wednesday morning.
This one was located at the 2500 block of W. Lincoln Avenue.
The operation lead to the arrest of 23 subjects, 14 gambling machines seized, and a loaded firearm recovered.
Slap houses often create crime waves in cities as they attract gangs and create a market for prostitution and drug sales.
