ANAHEIM, CALIF (January 14, 2019) – Anaheim Police Sexual Assault detectives and Safe Schools investigators are investigating several sexual batteries that have occurred since late last week on weekday mornings in the area of Savanna High School, 301 N. Gilbert Street.
The most recent attack occurred this morning in the 2800 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
In each of the incidents, female juvenile victims were walking to school when they were accosted by a suspect described as an unshaven Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build and short hair.
The suspect approached each of the victims from behind and grabbed them, then ran away.
The Anaheim Police Department is collaborating with the Anaheim Union High School District to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
Police are reminding students and parents to be aware of their surroundings when walking to and from school, and to report suspicious people immediately by calling 9-1-1.
