Around 11:17 pm on Monday night, Anaheim patrol officers observed a stolen Acura at Beach Blvd and Orange Ave in Anaheim. The officers attempted to stop the car, but it drove about a block, turned onto a small residential street (Broden St) and stopped in the middle of the street. The driver, Hector Munoz, 27, of Norwalk, refused to exit the car and barricaded himself inside. Yesterday on Friday, November 24, 2017, at about 4:30 p.m., Riverside Police officers responded to the 1700 block of Main Street, in Riverside, regarding a registered sex offender, Gabriel Vasquez, 43-years-old of Anaheim, wanted by State Parole for cutting off his GPS ankle monitoring device. ANAHEIM, CALIF (November 25, 2017) – Homicide Detectives and District Attorney Investigators are investigating an Officer Involved Shooting in Anaheim, which occurred during a domestic violence investigation earlier this afternoon.
Around 2:00 pm Saturday afternoon, APD officers were sent to an apartment in the 900 block of S. Citron Street in regards to a domestic violence suspect who was believed to be sleeping inside the apartment. The original crime occurred Friday afternoon, but the suspect had fled prior to police arrival. APD was called today advising the suspect was currently inside the apartment on Citron Street. A man was shot dead last night near N. Placentia Ave. and the 91 Freeway
On Friday night, 11/24/17, just after 10:00 pm, the Anaheim Police Department received multiple calls of shots fired with a person down in the alley of the 2500 block of E Terrace St., near N. Placentia Ave. and the 91 Freeway.
Arriving police units found an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the torso. Officers and paramedics performed life-saving efforts and the victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Continue reading

A restaurant employee at the Mexi-Casa Restaurant in Anaheim sought safety in a storage room after the business was held up by a masked robber late Friday night, Nov. 17, according to the O.C. Register.
Mexi-Casa was robbed at about 10:50 p.m. on Friday night, at the 1778 W. Lincoln Ave. in Anaheim, according to the Anaheim Police Department. Continue reading

Road closures for Disneyland races this weekend
There will be several road closures and possible traffic delays around Disneyland and the Platinum Triangle this weekend as the park hosts its Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon, Thor 10K and Spider-Man 5K.
The 5K race begins at 5 a.m. on Friday, the 10K race begins at 5 a.m. on Saturday and the half marathon will begin at 5 a.m. on Sunday. Road closures will span Friday through Sunday, Nov. 10-12, mostly in the early morning.
