Subject: Suspect Arrested on Attempted Murder and Pimping After Assaulting Female Last Weekend
ANAHEIM, CA – Thursday morning, Investigators from the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) arrested Deandre Henderson, a 26 year old resident of Tustin, for attempted murder, robbery and pimping. The arrest stems from an incident which occurred in Anaheim on September 17, 2016.
Last Saturday, Anaheim Police Officers were called to the 1400 block of S. Manchester Ave regarding a partially nude female being chased by a male with a handgun. Officers located a 21 year old female who told them Henderson and an unknown female entered her motel room and began assaulting her. During the assault, Henderson is alleged to have threatened the victim’s life. The investigation revealed the motive for the assault was Henderson’s involvement in the pimping of a second female victim. The second victim, a 19 year old female was identified and rescued.
Based on the circumstances, the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force assumed control of the investigation. The Task Force began searching for Henderson and ultimately located him at his mother’s home in the 13000 block of Myford Rd. in Tustin on Thursday morning. Henderson refused to exit the residence for over an hour, but eventually surrendered and was taken into custody without incident. Henderson was booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility for attempted murder, robbery and pimping.
He is being held on $500,000 bail at the Orange County Jail. The unidentified female suspect is still outstanding.
