Anaheim Howl-o-ween Dog Party Coming to La Palma Dog Park
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Oct. 14, 2015) Celebrate Halloween with your family dog at the city’s first Anaheim Howl-a-ween event at La Palma Dog Park on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participating or attending the festive event with your pawsitively best friend is a great way to get in the spirit for family-fun activities this time of year.
The Anaheim Howl-a-ween event will include a dog costume contest, doggie trick-or-treating, a photo booth, doggie treats, entertainment, refreshments and more.
Categories for the costume contest are:
- Best movie or television show theme
- Best pet and owner theme
- Traditional costume theme
Registration for each dog and up to two owners is $10. Dog owners can register online at www.anaheim.net/ezrecconnect or by calling Anaheim Community Services at (714) 765-5191. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended.
La Palma Dog Park is at 1161 N. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92801. Free parking is available along La Palma Way or in the parking lot behind Glover Stadium.
