Anaheim Public Utilities Offers New Incentives and Rebates for Home Cooling Systems
ANAHEIM, Calif. (October 7, 2015) The summer season may be behind us, but warm weather is still in the forecast. To assist customers through the warm weeks ahead, Anaheim Public Utilities has announced a new financial incentive and double rebates for selected home cooling upgrades. In addition, representatives will be available at locations in Anaheim through this weekend to meet customers and answer any questions.
The new financial incentives for Anaheim residential customers who either tune up their central A/C or upgrade to energy-efficient fans by October 31 are as follows:
- A new $100 rebate for homeowners who “tune up” their air conditioners using a certified contractor
- Double the rebate on efficient measures for cooling the home
- Whole house fans – rebate now $200, up from $100
- Attic fans (standard electric or solar-powered) – rebate now $60, up from $30
- Ceiling fans – rebate now $40 each, up from $20 (limit of 3 per household)
Anaheim Public Utilities representatives will be at the locations below to inform residents of all available rebates and to offer tips for home energy conservation.
