Anaheim Battle of the Bands to Take Place this Saturday at Pearson Park Amphitheatre
ANAHEIM, Calif. (July 16, 2015) Anaheim’s best middle school and high school bands will compete in the city’s first Battle of the Bands event on Saturday evening, July 18 at Pearson Park Amphitheatre. The community is invited to attend and cheer on their favorite bands. Admission is only $3 per adult, and children 8-years-and-under are free. The competition will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Battle of the Bands is sure to be a night where Anaheim’s young musicians will continue to hone their talents. The bands will go head-to-head to win the grand prize of $500, Disneyland Resort one-day park hopper tickets for each band member, recognition at an upcoming Anaheim City Council meeting, and more.
Tickets may be purchased on line by visiting www.anaheim.net/pearsontheatre or at the Box Office which opens at 5:30 p.m. on the night of the show. The concession stand will also open at 5:30 p.m., and the seating area will open at 6:00 p.m.
Pearson Park Amphitheatre is located at 401 N. Lemon Street in Downtown Anaheim. Free parking will be available at the lot located at the corner of Anaheim Blvd. and Cypress.
The Battle of the Bands, presented by the City of Anaheim, is an amateur competition designed to support music education and aspiring musicians in the city’s local schools.
