ANAHEIM, Calif. (March 5, 2015) Nature, hiking trails, streams and native wildlife is available right here in Anaheim, at the Oak Canyon Nature Center. Nestled in the hills in east Anaheim, Oak Canyon Nature Center offers Free and Fun activities presented by the City of Anaheim.
Oak Canyon Nature Center is a wildlife haven away from the hustle and bustle of city life, promising nature interactions that beckon visitors to come explore from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week.
The 58-acre park provides programs to interest visitors of all ages, from experienced hikers to first time explorers. The Nature Center allows visitors to interact with wildlife, to relax by a stream that flows through the park year-round, and hike on trails surrounded by native plants and animals. Staff leads guests on hour-long hikes on weekend mornings with an animal demonstration, as well as Nature Nights programs in the summer, where experts give formal presentations on a variety of fields.
