TRAFFIC ADVISORY FOR SATURDAY MORNING NEAR DOWNTOWN ANAHEIM
ANAHEIM, Calif. (February 5, 2015) The City of Anaheim is advising of temporary road closures on Saturday morning, February 7 in Downtown Anaheim for the 35th anniversary of the Black History Parade and Cultural Fair.
Black History Parade and Cultural Fair will take place from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Center Street Promenade. For the Parade, the following temporary road closures will take place from 9:45 – 11:30 a.m. only:
- Southbound Anaheim Blvd. will be closed from Sycamore St. to Santa Ana St.
- Northbound Anaheim Blvd. will be closed from Santa Ana St to Lincoln Ave.
- Eastbound Lincoln Ave. will be closed at Lemon St.
- Westbound Lincoln Ave. will be closed Anaheim Blvd. (traffic will be diverted Northbound onto Anaheim Blvd.)
- Eastbound Broadway St. will be closed at Lemon St.
- Westbound Broadway will be closed at Claudina St.
- Santa Ana closed from Claudina St. to Anaheim Blvd.
Please plan your commute accordingly to avoid any delays, and if attending the event, to allow sufficient time for arrival and parking. Also, please follow the directions of traffic control personnel. Their goal is to get you to the closest parking locations.
