The Loara High School Band Boosters (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, ID # 51-015-6079) are asking local businesses for financial support and or donations for our up coming event on October 25, 2014 called “The Loara Band Review & Field Tournament.”
The Loara Band Review & Field Tournament is one of the most prestigious tournaments of the competitive marching season. The tournament annually draws over 55 bands and 10,000 attendees from all over Southern California and beyond.
Funds from public education only cover the costs of basic musical classroom instruction. The Loara Band has traditionally excelled in competitions. The expenses associated with such a program of almost 200 students include costumes; instrument leases; transportation; show design; music; and instructors for the band. The program we provide for our Band must be funded by other means, namely Booster fundraisers.
We undertake this financial challenge willingly. The beneficiaries are our children, and the experiences they gain through participation are immeasurable. We hope that our community shares our pride.
The Loara Band Boosters are appealing to the local community for donations.
There are many sponsorship opportunities from as little as a $25 business card add in our program, up to a $10,000.00 Tournament sponsorships, and many in between.

About the Loara High School Band and Color Guard
Loara High School is located in Anaheim, California and is part of the Anaheim Union High School District. Established in 1962, Loara has a current enrollment of around 2100 students in grades 9 through 12.
The Loara Band and Color Guard is comprised of approximately 150 students enrolled in the different programs. The band competes in parade reviews, field tournaments and concerts. The color guard, dance team and percussion ensemble also travel to regional and national competitions.
We refer to ourselves as the Band Family because we truly are an extended family. The lessons learned go beyond music theory, and extend to responsibility, dedication, and excellence of achievement, regardless of natural ability.
Students benefit from participating in the program by:
a) developing their musical and performing skills,
b) achieving discipline and work ethic through the rigors of daily practice;
c) learning how to achieve excellence through cooperation as a competitive team.
