Subject: Robbery Series Expands: Police Ask for Public’s Help with Suspect Identification
Between June 2 and July 23, 2014, the Anaheim Police Department has been called to investigate a series of seven (7) armed robberies throughout the City. Through our investigation, it is believed a lone male suspect is responsible for these robberies and we recently learned of another related armed robbery on May 28, 2014 in the city of Orange.
The Anaheim Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying this suspect. He is described as follows:
Hispanic Male, 30’s, 5-07 to 6-00, 170-200lbs. He is often wearing a baseball cap with a red rim, gray hooded sweatshirt, and has a tattoo behind his left ear. He carries the gun in his waistband and it’s wrapped in a bandana. Witnesses reported seeing a light color, 4-door vehicle fleeing the scene of one of the robberies and it may be the suspect’s vehicle.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS, www.occrimestoppers.org , or text OCCS and your tip to CRIMES (274637). You may remain anonymous.
