Orange County NOW is hosting a full-day Girls Leadership Conference on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at Loara High School, located at 1765 Cerritos Ave, in Anaheim, from 8 am to 3:30 pm.
This event will feature local female professionals who will discuss their career paths, lessons they wished someone would have shared with them when they were your age, and tips for planning your own unique leadership path.
They’ll have breakout sessions so that you can engage in lively discussions with the speakers and other participants. They’ll also have college mentors and counselors on hand to help you figure out your curriculum for high school and review specifics on preparing for college (including financial advisers).
Material covered is age appropriate for girls between the ages of 12-18.
A light breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided.
