At about 11 pm last night, the Anaheim Police Department responded to Servite High School where students from Rosary High School were using the auditorium when a portion of the stage collapsed causing about 20-40 students to fall 10-15 feet.
A Twitter commenter noted that “Some of the girls from Rosary were on the stage, dancing, at the finale and it totally caved it.”
The Anaheim Fire Department treated some patients on scene and a few were transported to local hospitals for further treatment of minor injuries.
In all 25 people were injured by the stage collapse according to APD Lt. Tim Schmidt. The Anaheim Fire Department will take the lead on investigating what happened.
