ARTIC CONSTRUCTION MORE THAN HALFWAY COMPLETE
ANAHEIM, CA – (December 4, 2013) Commuters driving along Katella Ave. near Honda Center, Angel Stadium of Anaheim and the 57 freeway are witnessing history in action. The elegantly curved steel beams rising up to 120-feet tall represent the future of Orange County transportation. ARTIC – the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center – is more than halfway towards its completion, with its grand opening expected late 2014.
With the number of cars on the road expected to continue rising, commuters are seeking ways to arrive at their destinations quickly and easily. Whether traveling to work or attending a sporting event, concert, convention or theme park, the need for public transportation is increasingly in demand.
The City of Anaheim is currently in the process of securing a property management consultant, which will assist with the planning and implementation of daily operations and maintenance of the facility. In addition, the City is seeking Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for naming rights sponsor consulting services to offset the operations and maintenance costs of the facility. The procurement processes are designed to provide the best quality and value for the future operations of ARTIC. All public documents can be found at www.articinfo.com.
ARTIC will open with services to accommodate 10 modes of transportation, including Amtrak, Metrolink, public and charter bus services, taxi service, carpooling, even service for bicyclists utilizing the adjacent Santa Ana River Trail. ARTIC is designed to accommodate future modes of transportation, and is situated along the LOSSAN corridor (Los Angeles-San Diego), which is the second most traveled rail corridor in the country.
ARTIC is also proudly Buy America compliant requiring all major components to be made in the USA.
We invite you to visit www.articinfo.com for current information, plus photos and videos demonstrating the future of ARTIC.

###
ARTIC was built for over $174 million to accommodate High-Speed Rail. It’s not coming, so that makes it a Glass Barn serving no purpose at all.
It is Pringle’s biggest folly.
