O.C. bloggers are in a total uproar since Lorri Galloway announced that she can’t be trusted. Well actually she announced that she is running against her ally, Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait. Her excuse is that he doesn’t use his position of Mayor to advocate for issues that she supports. And she is miffed that he doesn’t work well with the Anaheim City Council.
But as Tait pointed out, Galloway doesn’t work well with them either. Who would? You can’t work with the likes of Kris Murray, Jordan Brandman, Lucille Kring and Gail Eastman. You just have to defeat them at the ballot box.
Kring, who Tait supported for the Anaheim City Council last year, turned on him as well. She too will be running for Mayor.
But you now what? Tait has nothing to worry about. Kring and Galloway will split the female vote. The media will heap scorn on them both for being traitors. Tait will be able to run a positive campaign while they froth at the mouth. He will win easily.
Remember that people vote for politicians that can inspire them and give them hope. That is of course an apt description of Tait – one of the most decent men in office in this County of Orange. Kring will pull extremists on the right and Galloway will draw extremists on the left. And Tait will win.
As for Galloway and Kring we all know now that neither one can be trusted. I already knew that about Kring. I learned all that I need to know about her when she drilled Cecilia Iglesias last year at a GOP endorsement committee meeting. Kring openly bashed the Dream Act and right then and there I knew she was just another Mexican basher.
That didn’t stop Orange Juice blogger Vern Nelson from supporting Kring last year. He did so even though there were two great candidates in John Leos and Duane Roberts. I supported them and would do so again.
Of course Nelson has not learned from his mistakes. Now he is siding with his fellow Democrat, Galloway, according to the Voice of OC. Some people never learn.
So why is Galloway running? Who cares? Let’s beat her and end her political career and move on. She could have been part of the solution in Anaheim. Now she will be nothing more than a footnote and a minor one at that.
This is fantastic about Miss Galloway
