ANAHEIM’S MILITARY BANNER CEREMONY WILL HONOR 18 RESIDENTS CURRENTLY SERVING OUR COUNTRY
ANAHEIM, CA – (October 18, 2013) The City of Anaheim will honor 18 active military members on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the annual Anaheim Military Banner Ceremony. The event will take place at George Washington Park beginning at 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend and pay tribute to the brave Anaheim residents currently serving our country.
Anaheim is also proud to welcome the Color Guard from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to present the colors on that day.
The 18 banners introduced on Wednesday will join the 72 banners currently hanging on street light poles throughout the City. The newly introduced banners will honor the following:
