An Anaheim bar employee was hospitalized today after being stabbed twice by a homeless man who had caused a disturbance at the business, police said, according to the L.A. Daily News.
The stabbing happened around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Lemon Twist Lounge at 2822 W. Ball Rd, said Anaheim police Sgt. Steve Pena.
The Lemon Twist Lounge was inspected by the Orange County Health Agency on Sep. 10, 2013 and issued minor violations for:
- Last Report Unavailable/Consumer Access
- Uncleanliness of Premises/Trash Storage
- Evidence of Vermin Activity/Presence of Animals/Insects
- Lack of/Unsanitary/Condition Walls/Floors/Ceilings
- Unsanitary Equipment/Utensil/Linen/Plumbing
The suspect, who is in his early 50s, was kicked out of the bar and stabbed the employee who ejected him in the parking lot, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Steve Pena. The employee suffered minor injuries to his abdomen and a leg and initially refused to be taken to a hospital, he said.
The suspect was booked.
