ANAHEIM FIRE & RESCUE INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO JOIN IN 9/11 REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY
ANAHEIM, CA – (September 10, 2013) On Wednesday, Sept. 11 Anaheim Fire & Rescue will participate in a county-wide September 11 Remembrance Service to honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Anaheim Fire & Rescue’s primary ceremony will take place at the flag poles located in front of Anaheim City Hall and will be simultaneously held at each fire station in Anaheim and throughout Orange County.
The community is invited to join Anaheim Fire & Rescue for this remembrance ceremony which will last approximately 25 minutes. Guests are respectfully asked to arrive by 8:30 a.m. as the ceremony will begin promptly at 8:46 a.m., which represents that time that the first plane struck the World Trade Center Tower No. 1. If guests are unable to join, all are encouraged to share a moment of silence to salute all who lost their lives on this day.
