SUMMER CONCERTS IN ANAHEIM ARE FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
ANAHEIM, CA – (June 3, 2013) The Anaheim Community Foundation and Anaheim Community Services are offering another summer of fun and family entertainment in Anaheim with two outdoor concert series, at Pearson Park Amphitheater and Ronald Reagan Park. Mark your calendars to enjoy Summer Under the Stars and Concerts in the Canyon.
The Summer Under the Stars series at Pearson Park Amphitheater will offer its annual Family Series on Friday nights, July 5 – Aug. 2, with all shows beginning at 6:30 p.m. The box office and food concessions open at 5:30 p.m. and open seating begins at 6:00 p.m. Children 8-and-under are free and all others guests are $3.00 per person.
The Family Series schedule includes:
· July 5 – Nonosina Polynesian Spectacular
· July 12 – L.A. Hip Kids
· July 19 –Taiko Drums
· July 26 –Spellman’s Magic Spectacular
· August 2 – The Anaheim Ballet
· Aug. 9 – “Happiness is Now,” a high-energy hip hop dance troupe and teen show presented by Team Millennia
The Concerts in the Canyon series located at Ronald Reagan Park will offer a variety of free performances on Thursday nights July 11 – Aug. 1. Shows will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. All performances are open “grass” seating and open to the public. Visiting gourmet food trucks will serve meals, snacks and desserts. Anaheim Community Services will also provide activities for all youth in attendance.
The Concerts in the Canyon schedule includes:
· July 11 – Bostyx (Boston and Styx tribute featuring David Victor of Boston)
· July 18 – DSB (America’s favorite tribute to Journey)
· July 25 – The Joshua Tree (U2 tribute band)
· Aug. 1 – Powerhouse (Top 40)
The Summer Under the Stars and Concerts in the Canyon series provide family, friends, and neighbors a great opportunity to enjoy live outdoor entertainment while spending quality time with one another.
