The 25th annual Anaheim Hills Firecracker 5k/10k run and 5k walk is set for July 4, starting at 7 am. Click here to register.
Come join your neighbors at the annual Firecracker run/walk (formerly the Mary Castle Memorial Firecracker 5K Run & 10K). There is plenty of fun for the whole family from the casual walker to the competitive racer.
Race Location/Directions:
Canyon High School (CHS) track
220 S. Imperial Hwy., Anaheim Hills, CA
91 fwy , south on Imperial Hwy to first light past Santa Ana Canyon Road, then left info main CHS parking lot

Course Description:
- Out-and-back 5k & 10k courses; Combined 5k/10k start times
- 5k (run and walk) – flat/fast on Santa Ana Canyon Rd.; turnaround at Mohler
- 10k – flat/fast on Santa Ana Canyon Rd. until Eucalyptus; then moderate uphill to turnaround behind Festival shopping center
Race Day Schedule:
- Same Day Registration – 5:30-6:30
- Warm-up – 6:45 a.m.
- 5k/10 k start time: 7:00 a.m.
- 100 yd and 200 yd toddler/kid’s dash: 9:00 a.m.
Pre-Race Registration and Packet Pick-Up:
7/1 and 7/2 from noon to 7 p.m., location TBD
5k/10k Divisions/Awards:
- Medals awarded to male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in 15 age divisions: 9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+
- Special awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female overall race winners

Proceeds from the race go to support the annual fireworks show at Peralta Park.
