The Anaheim Children’s Festival is set for this Saturday, May 18, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 P.M., at the Center Street Promenade.
The Children’s Festival is a celebration of all the arts and gives the attending children, teenagers and families, an opportunity to experience many mediums in one day. Participants will sing and dance, paint, draw, watch, wonder, enjoy and learn!
Over 50 booths will decorate Center Street Promenade from Clementine to the west, to Anaheim Blvd. on the east. The collection of booths will house a broad variety of local organizations who will bring an art project for attendees to participate in. From origami to plate painting, children and their families will be encouraged to try art, and all participants will be applauded for their efforts.
Two stages will be located at the Festival – local groups that do a variety of entertainment will be featured. Musicians, puppets, bands, vocal groups, and dancers will perform from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Organizations are encouraged to contact the Children’s Festival to perform.
Non-profit organizations can participate by hosting a food booth and raising funds for their organization and programs.
