David Michael Bruce, 68, a retired Sycamore Junior High School drama teacher who was on trial for allegedly molesting five of his students, apparently took his own life as his attorney and a prosecutor were preparing to begin closing arguments Wednesday morning, according to the O.C. Register.

A man named Nicolas Castillo, 29, was arrested at his fiancé’s home, near a home on the 2200 block of Woodley Avenue in Anaheim, by the SAPD today, after an informant told police officials that Castillo was looking to have sex with any 4-year-old, according to KTLA.
Santa Ana police and FBI officials served search warrants at the Woodley Avenue home, and another home in Yorba Linda that is also associated with Castillo and is across the street from Bryant Ranch Elementary School, according to ABC. Continue reading
Irvine, Calif. (March, 28, 2018) – An Anaheim police officer involved shooting occurred Tuesday night in Irvine.
Around 10 p.m., an Anaheim Police Department helicopter was following a vehicle that was driving erratically and in excess of 100 miles per hour on I-405. The helicopter requested units to respond. Prior to those units arriving, the vehicle crashed on I-405 at Jamboree, near the Von Karman overpass. The suspect fled the vehicle and was located shortly thereafter in the area of Von Karman and Quartz. Continue reading
