ANAHEIM, CALIF (January 24, 2019) – Anaheim Police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who climbed on the hood of a woman’s vehicle and smashed her windshield with his fist at the culmination of an apparent road rage incident.
At about 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, the victim, a 34-year-old Anaheim woman, was driving in the area of State College Boulevard and Lincoln Avenue when she noticed a white Jeep Liberty or Cherokee following her and driving erratically. The driver of the Jeep drove in front of the victim’s vehicle and forced her to stop.

The victim notified police immediately and reported that she had never seen the suspect before and that the incident was unprovoked.
The victim was in her vehicle with a male friend, 49, and her two children, ages 12 and 13. No one was injured during the incident.
The victim’s hood was dented and her windshield was shattered, causing an estimated $1,200 in damage.
The victim video recorded the incident from inside her vehicle and posted the recording on social media.
No arrests have been made and the suspect has not yet been identified. He is described as a heavyset white male who is approximately 40 years old with strawberry blonde hair that is partially balding, and a full beard.
