At 3:15 am Sunday morning, Anaheim PD and Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to Ball and Loara on a heavy rescue traffic collision. Three vehicles were found to be involved; a Toyota Camry, a Nissan Maxima, and a Nissan Versa. The Versa was parked at the time of the collision.
One patient was pronounced deceased at the scene. No information regarding that patient is being released at this time. An 18 year old male who was driving the Nissan Maxima has been detained for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. A 17 year old female passenger from the Maxima was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
Ball Rd will be closed in both directions between Walnut and Loara until further notice.
