At 12:15 am, Anaheim Fire & Rescue and Anaheim Police responded to the 1000 blk of N. Rosemont on a residential structure fire. While en route, additional information was received there were still occupants inside.
The first police and fire units on scene were able to escort three elderly residents from the residence. A fourth elderly male was contacted in the backyard attempting to extinguish the fire with a garden house. That individual suffered minor facial burns and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and observation. His injuries were not life threatening and there were no reported injuries to the other residents or fire personnel. Continue reading

APD SWAT TEAMS SERVE SIMULTANEOUS WARRANTS RELATED TO GANG SHOOTING – SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Late Wednesday evening, Anaheim Police SWAT personnel, assisted by the Orange County Sheriff’s SWAT Team, served simultaneous search warrants at three Anaheim residences: 1200 block of N. East Street, 600 block of S. Philadelphia St., and 200 block of S. Ohio St.
The warrants were issued in relation to a gang related shooting in the 800 block of E. Balsam Ave. on March 9th, during which the suspects fired approximately 20 rounds from an assault rifle. No victims were struck by the gunfire, but several residences were struck by bullets. Continue reading
On 3/18/17 at 10:51 pm, the Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Magnolia Ave north of Lincoln.
A total of five vehicles were involved with 11 patients transported to local hospitals with minor to moderate injuries. Three children ranging in age from 6 to 17 suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospitals. The eight remaining patients ranged in age from 19 to 63 years old. Continue reading
