ANAHEIM EDUCATION LEADERS MOBILIZE AROUND CORREA’S CONGRESSIONAL BID
Anaheim Union High School District & Anaheim City School District Board Members Endorse Lou Correa in CA-46 Contest
SANTA ANA, CA— Formulating a wide-ranging alliance of support around his campaign to represent California’s 46th Congressional District seat, today former State Senator Lou Correa won numerous endorsements from some of the region’s most influential education leaders.
Those endorsing former State Senator Lou Correa for Congress today include:
- Anaheim Union High School District Board President Annemarie Randal-Trejo
- Anaheim Union High School District Board Member Al Jabbar
- Anaheim City School District Board of Education President Bob Gardner
- Anaheim City School District Board of Education Member Ryan Ruelas
Former State Senator Correa released the following statement after receiving the endorsements:
“Education is the foundation of our society. That’s why having the support from these distinguished education leaders means so much to me. In Congress, I will work tirelessly to protect funding for local neighborhood schools while increasing investments in our education system to modernize our schools, make colleges more accessible and affordable, and ensure that our students receive a world-class education.
